The foreground of horizons is a rusty swing, in the background a landscape with a distant horizon.  The familiar view of a swing in the landscape is turned on its head through tying the camera onto the swing itself.  The swing becomes the motionless point while the landscape swings to and fro.  The aggressive sound of the rusty swing creaks back and forth in rhythm with the image.
The video installation horizons addresses the manipulation of cinematic perspective through framing and aggressive sound. Fixing a camera on a rusty swing, she submits a mundane scenario to distortion as landscape and horizon shift to and fro.
